Somewhere in Northern Italy, where majestic peaks meet the peaceful shores of great lakes, the Jonak Spring/Summer collection declares an anthem to refined lines and pictorial silhouettes.

Old-fashioned babies converse with straps that have been multiplied to reign supreme. Mules proclaim the all-powerfulness of block heels and snug fits. Ballet flats, alternately flat or slightly elevated, take a much-appreciated turn towards flawless modernity. Conquering eclecticism, sandals tell the story of those who wear them: sometimes cheeky, often surprising, always essential. Pointed toes gain in confidence and assert their sharp arch in the languor of shady days. The mesh, both delicate and sensual, contrasts not far from studded accumulations. Finally, bicolor unequivocally finds its way to consecration, asserting its ambivalent identity.

To bring out the richness of spring pigments, the range of shades has not been overlooked. Black retreats in favor of versatile shades of brown, taupe, and cognac whose versatility is beyond doubt. Ecru stealthily takes its place in the sun alongside platinum and metallic silver. Sky blue and coral work in unison to crystallize the memory of the first buds, while true emphasis is claimed by carmine red, the obvious prodigy of the narrative.

Like a burst before the equinox, Jonak's Spring/Summer collection projects, in rare intensity, the obstinate detonation of its footsteps on the marbled floor of forgotten palaces.
